A PROPOSED RESOLUTION IN THE
COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

To confirm the reappointment of Ms. Renee L. Bowser to the
District of Columbia Commission on Human Rights.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That
this resolution may be cited as the "District of Columbia Commission on Human Rights
Renee L. Bowser Confirmation Resolution of 2000".

Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the
reappointment of:

Ms. Renee L. Bowser

5322 2nd Street, N.W.

Washington, D.C. 20011

(Ward 4)

as a member of the District of Columbia Commission on Human
Rights, established by Commission’s Order 71-224, dated July 8, 1971, as amended, and
section 2 of the Confirmation Amendment Act of 1998, effective June 12, 1999 (D.C. Law
12-285; D.C. Code §1-2501), for a term to end December 31, 2002.

Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit
a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, each to the nominee and to the Office of the
Mayor.

Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
