THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
To approve on an emergency basis, a Fiscal Year
2001 reprogramming of $1,200,000 of local budget authority within the
Disability Compensation Fund.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited as "Reprogramming of
$1,200,000 within the Disability Compensation Fund Emergency Approval
Resolution of 2001."
Sec. 2. Pursuant to the provisions of D.C.
Code, sections 47-3363 and 47-392.3, and section 116 of the District of
Columbia Appropriations Act, 2000, approved November 29, 1999 (Pub. L. No.
106-113; 113 Stat. 1501), the Council of the District of Columbia approves
the $1,200,000 reprogramming of Fiscal Year 2001 local operating budget
authority within the Disability Compensation Fund to cover payment to
medical providers for services rendered to District government employees
on disability compensation, and to meet payroll expenses.
Sec. 3. The Secretary to the Council shall
transmit a copy of this resolution to the Mayor upon its adoption.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect
immediately.
