A PROPOSED RESOLUTION IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
To confirm the appointment of Mr. Gregory W. Fazakerley to the Washington Convention
Center Board of Directors.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited
as the Washington Convention Center Authority Board of Directors Gregory W. Fazakerley
Confirmation Resolution of 1999.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

as a public member of the Washington Convention Center Authority Board of Directors,
established by section 205 of the Washington Convention Center Authority Act of 1994, D.C.
Law 10-188, effective September 28, 1994, completing the unexpired term of Louanner
Peters, whose term will end May 16, 1999 and for a full 4-year term to commence thereafter
ending, May 16, 2003.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this
resolution, upon its adoption, each to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall have no fiscal impact.
Sec. 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

BIOGRAPHY
Greg Fazakerley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Development Resources,
Inc. ("DRI") DRI is a Washington, DC based commercial real estate development,
construction management and property management firm.
A primary focus of DRI’s commercial development is the development and construction of
corporation and non-profit Association headquarters buildings. DRI has delivered over 60
headquarters buildings during the past twenty years.
DRI is most active in the Gallery Place area of the "New Downtown". Recent
developments include 810 7th Street (home of The Department of Justice and Coco Loco
restaurant;) the United States Mint Headquarters — due to be completed in October
1999, and the headquarters of the American Public Health Association.
Mr. Fazakerley is active in several community and business organizations. As a
past-President of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association
("DCBIA") he currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of
Directors He is a Director and Vice Chairman of the newly established Downtown Business
Improvement District (BID). Mr. Fazakerley is First Vice Chair of the Greater Washington
Urban League, a Member of the Board of Trade and a Member of the Federal City Council
Mr. Fazakerly attended the University of Notre Dame and is a graduate of the American
University. He and his wife, Candy, have two sons and reside in Washington, DC.
