To appoint Dr. Victor G. Freeman to the District of Columbia Health and Hospitals
Public Benefit Corporation Board of Directors.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited
as the "Health and Hospitals Public Benefit Corporation Board of Directors Victor G.
Freeman Emergency Appointment Resolution of 2001".
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia appoints:

as a member of the Board of Directors of the Health and Hospitals Public Benefit
Corporation, established by section 203 of the Health and Hospitals Public Benefit
Corporation Act of 1996, effective April 9, 1997 (D.C. Law 11-212; D.C. Code §32-262.3),
replacing Dr. Bette Catoe whose term expires December 12, 2001.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this
resolution, upon its adoption, each to the appointee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
